About Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
It is a medically supervised exercise program designed for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis and other lung diseases.
Our comprehensive program aims to improve health by helping patients increase their exercise tolerance and develop healthy behaviors. At ASHRAI, these goals are achieved through aerobic and strength training exercise, breathing exercise, symptom management training with activity, and relaxation exercise.
By monitoring exercise in a controlled environment, we help patients develop an exercise prescription that can be followed individually for the rest of their lives.
We also offer group and individual education sessions, which can help patients understand their pulmonary diseases and make requisite changes to their lifestyles.
